Mostly did service checks today. But in the camp ground I spotted this Western Ringneck or Port Lincoln Parrot. One of its preferred habitats is the River Red gums, Desert Oak and spinifex. Which are all plentiful in this part of Australia. This one was feeding on the seed from the tree. They are not found in the Eastern half of Australia. That’s why I find them fascinating, because I haven’t noticed them before. Even though I’ve been up to the Territory five times.
Another week gone, one to go unfortunately. I’ve got two days off for the weekend. So I’ll be off to Alice again.
The whole place looks amazing Dazz. What a wonderful time you must be having. Love you Dazz.
It is amazing country in the Outback. I just love it.
