My last day at Finke Gorge National Park and what a way to end it. Working in the magnificent Palm Valley. Tasked with spraying weeds. To my surprise, there was a large variety of weeds. You could see how they were competing with the native flora. Please see my video below to get a perspective of how awesome this place is.

After a long hard day we knocked off and headed to the Maggot Bar, to share a drink and a BBQ. It was time to say my goodbyes. What a memorable 3 weeks at Finke Gorge NP. Thank you to the Rangers who showed me so much and to NT Parks & Wildlife Commission for giving me the opportunity to volunteer in this magic part of Australia. I must say the Maggot Bar is one character filled place to have a drink. I will return.
