CU in the NT

Friday 6th September. I left Marla in the morning and finally crossed the border from South Australia into the Northern Territory (NT). I pressed on for the rest of the day and reached my destination Alice Springs. Alice Springs is located in the physical centre of the Australian continent, roughly halfway between Darwin and Adelaide. The township is affectionately referred to by locals as either ‘The Alice’, or simply ‘Alice’. It is a fairly large town, with a population of 26,600 people.

The landscape surrounding Alice, includes the MacDonnell Ranges. It is a rugged picturesque surrounding. But a welcome sight for weary travellers. After travelling 2290km to get here. I am looking forward to resting up before heading to Finke Gorge National Park.
